The Journal was published from 1993 to 2004 by Media Enterprises as a non-profit contribution to education and research. Back issues are available for $30 per volume or $10 per issue. A listing of contents for each issue is provided on this site under Resources > Free downloads.

In 2006 we merged the Journal with The Bahamas Naturalist - a similar publication that had been produced sporadically by the Bahamas National Trust since 1975. The BNT is the leading Bahamian conservation agency, formed by parliament in 1959 to manage the country's national park system.

Four issues of the Bahamas Naturalist and Journal of Science were produced in 2006 and 2007. Back issues are available for $20 each. More information can be found on this site under Resources > Free downloads.
